If you are like me, there is no option for well water, where we live so the municipal product is what we have on tap. While I don't dislike the taste, it is not something that I look forward to partaking much of on a daily basis.
Most of us do not drink the recommended half gallon of water every day. Dehydration has been linked to poor behavior and poor performance in students. It has also been linked to common aches and pains like back pain and headaches.
The body is an amazing machine when we provide it what it needs. If 78% of your body is water, then the most important thing we can provide the body is water.
The challenge that many of us face is the fact that we don't like what comes out of the tap. It is this dislike that had supported the multi billion dollar business of bottled water that continues to grow.
In many cases bottled water is a good solution. It is compact and convenient but it is also costly not to mention very "ungreen".
